“ Came in for breakfast because of the nice music, stayed for the great attention, very nice ambient and recently baked products. Was given churros to try right out of the frier, very good! Thanks Manu for the great attention! ”
“ We had both breakfast and dinner there. We first went in for a coffee and toast: the toasts were huge and freshly made. The coffee was very tasty. We decided to repeat the place for the evening meal: the owner offered us what he had in store and we went for an entrecot, chorizo criollo and tuna-pepper salad. Everything was extremely well done, and the tuna-pepper salad was a plus. Service is efficient and fast, but it takes a while to get the food because it will be cooked on the fire just for you. Definitely recommend! ”
“ An absolutely sensational meal and great value menu del dia. Every dish was thoughtful, delicious and well flavoured. We loved everything we ate, and loved the attention to detail from the staff who constantly checked on us to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. We also appreciated how they used Google Translate to communicate with us, considering our Spanish isn't great. Super helpful! As a pilgrim walking the Camino, you really appreciate a restaurant that takes the time to be kind to you and treat you with the respect they would show to their regulars and this place offered us that and more. Highly recommend! I just wish we were here another day so we could try more of the menu. Chef's kiss! ”
“ Best food I’ve had on the Camino ! Wow ! Finger licking good! And the staff is very sweet. Definitely stop here for lunch if you get the chance. ”
“ Nice location, nice place inside, good views, but two members of staff ruin it. I kind of feel sorry for the owners, if it's not their fault. We went in the evening after walking 27 km. We thought it looked nice, but after the first drink, we had to go up to the bar to order each time because the girl behind the bar didn't bother to come and serve. She was also totally rude when I ordered my drink pulling a face and making some kind of weird noise of not understanding me, despite me speaking perfect Spanish (my Spanish wife was a couple of feet away and heard it all). In the morning, we went over for breakfast after being told they had a breakfast menu by the hotel across the road. My wife asked that time because I couldn't be bothered to explain myself twice like the night before, and the youngish girl said no menu just this, and pointed to a glass display case with a few apples, croissants and Spanish Tortilla! My wife pushed it and asked for tostada, which in the end arrived. I won't go back there again next year, and a family we met had an almost identical experience, so again, I feel sorry for the owners. ”
“ Vis-a-vis the albergue in the monastery. Opens at 08:00 in the morning. Good option for pilgrims after leaving the Monastery de Sobrado. ”
“ Friendly service and quality food. ”
